Prelimanary exercise

for this we were given a certain song the name of this song was don't go breaking my heart by Elton john this song had lyrics that were easy to lip sync to. I did not appear in my video i did the camera work the two girls that i worked with were in the video.

for this i got 3 different angles and takes these were whole takes this would intern then make editing easier. The best way to get them to lip sync was them to actually sing the song aloud no matter how good or bad they are and then this would let them get exactly in time with the music.

when we then edited the video changing shot and keeping the same part in the music the same was possible. with my video we will have more time to learn the lyrics and then we can get it bangon and then make my editing sequence a lot simpler.

when i make my video i will have a greater amount of time and a wider range of filming location this will not be filmed in school at all this makes it look like a real music video.

when i make my video i will try my best to get the lip syncing near to perfect this was hard in the preliminary exercise as we have never tried to sync it before.

Anthony Rankin

This is a bio of the singer song writer Anthony Rankin

I’ve been experimenting with music in some shape or form since sitting nervously behind a piano at four years old, but found it to be my true calling once I gripped my first electric guitar at age eight and never looked back (exposure to a couple of Prince records did nothing to deter my enthusiasm – we both have a Napoleon complex).
Between then and now, I’ve written a lot of songs (some good, some not-so-good, two that got played on a local radio station); performed those songs hundreds of times in my hometown, and occasionally in a cool city like Philadelphia or Los Angeles; self-released a handful of records; sold a few thousand copies of those records; made a hip music video with my band for a song from one of those records; and got a bit of press in the local papers (and even a blog or two) along the way.
Since I was sixteen, I’ve straddled the fences between rock and R&B, pop and funk, metal and jazz... when it comes to being an artist, I still can’t sit still in one place for too long, but most music critics would probably label my sound as generally being "pop/rock with a funk undercurrent" or something like that. Like Maroon 5, but if Richie Sambora was the guitar player (no offense, James Valentine).
After high school, I was lucky enough to study my passion at the university level and received a Bachelor’s Degree of Music from Duquesne University in 2006. I still owe them a lot of money.
Throughout my young life, many people have told me that I was destined for fame, while at the same time others criticized me for having no artistic merit, or accused me of having "curiously precise facial hair" (true story).  At the end of the day, those things aren’t really for me to decide.  I just make music.

I have chosen this artist because his songs have easy lyrics to lip sync and to me the lyrics allow me to create a story with the the song telling it. The artist has given me complete permission to use 1 of the following 2 songs as I'm not 100 percent on what one i want to use yet. I do not think i will appear in my music video as i have two people to appear in it from outside of the sixth form

The song will be uploaded at a later date.

Album artwork

Lady Gaga Born this way

this piece of artwork reflects the artist as lady gaga is seen as a strange and excentric and she also has a strange dress sense in the public eye. this album artwork was a risk for the performer and that she takes a big risk with the lyrics in her song as well as the art on her album. this will be successful as her fans like her taking risks.
